You know what?! I forgot to fan over Host Club #12 when I got it! That's right, I'm 'bout to fan over Host Club, so I suggest all the guys scamper along.

That being said, kyaa! It was great! Haruhi acquires +1 personality! Finally! Hooray! Although I did feel it was a bit sudden. For the sake of moving things along, I suppose. But in all honesty, Tamaki is and always has been pretty freaking awesome, so sorta... who wouldn't fall for him, you know? Awkward but good hearted I guess.

I still feel the proper way to watch Host Club (actually I suggest not watching the anime, I like the manga a lot better) is to cheer EVERY TIME YOUR HOST COMES ON THE SCREEN, because otherwise it just gets boring. So much in the same style, when it comes to number 12 I have to cheer for Kyoya approximately a million times. The problem with number 12 was... (long pause) I didn't want to hear (serious) Kyoya inner dialogue. Never. I want to wonder what he's thinking. I understand he doesn't have to be right and calculating every second and that may finally open him up to some people, but screw that, I want me my megane Kyoya. Finding (spoilers taken out) was fine but in the mean time he was like asking inner questions and like "I don't know blur blur blur." Granted I was thinking about that TOO, but I want him to wonder silently, so that I don't think he's as dumb as me. But still, KYOYA LOVE.

Any way that's all on that.

So, side note: In one of my new games, Persona 4, I wanted badly for my main character to become a megane type. I finally got it, but then it actually kind of made the game no fun... Well I take that back, the game got no fun FOR ME when I started getting around level 8 with the girls and I was like "I AM a girl, I don't want to date girls, 'boo hoo,'" so it feels awkward somewhat to play a game where girls won't freaking quit flirting with me. I guess I'll continue to try and seperate me from my character but... I stopped playing for a while because it was just so awkward. lol.
I still suggest trying Persona 4 though. But only if you like REALLY long gameplay games. If you're a quickie player, avoid at all costs. It's also not good if you aren't a j-fan. It's not an RPG, it's a JRPG. Now I know the finest RPGs HAVE come out of Japan, but when I say a JRPG I mean basically cheesy anime in game form.
Any way! I named my character Amano Kyoka (Kyoka Amano). His (given) name is a triple joke on him! Therefore you get 3 guesses why~ the answer is below.

The first I imagine you guessed, he's partially named after one of my favorite megane characters, Kyoya (the other being Ishida from Bleach! Hooray!)
The second is also hinted at- I was semi resentful that since this game is part datsim part RPG I had to be a boy character. I understand cost of animating bla bla but couldn't they have found a way to just make the character gender ambiguous? *thinks about it* Bah! I guess not. But still you can choose EVERYTHING ELSE, why can't you choose the gender? sigh... So in any case- you might have noticed KyoKA is a GIRL'S name (if you're familiar with Japanese kinds of names...) That's right, I named my character a girl's name out of spite because I wanted a girl character. He's as weak as a girl any way (actually he's weaker than Chie *hides*) so why not.
The third is probably the hardest, unless you have some JAPANGO training or some roudabout knowledge of the word- but the "Kyou" sound in his name "Kyoka" actually comes from the word glasses. While "megane" is actually the word for glasses (yes it is a word, not a type... except in fandom), "ganKYOU" is also glasses! So now you know!
